ProofPay Premium — Automated Payment Intelligence

ProofPay Premium — Privacy Policy

Applies to ProofPay Premium, the ProofPay tier that offers automated payment-message processing.

Effective date: 25 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 25 August 2026

In one sentence: ProofPay Premium lets you authorize ProofPay to automatically identify and process relevant incoming payment messages, instead of sharing each one yourself. This is a different data-acquisition model from ProofPay Basic, and this policy governs Premium only.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ProofPay Premium processes information on your device when you enable its automated payment-message processing functionality.

2. Scope

This policy applies only to ProofPay Premium. It does not apply to ProofPay Basic, which uses a manual, user-initiated sharing model and is covered by its own Privacy Policy. The two documents should not be read together as describing one blended product — Basic's policy does not describe Premium's data practices, and this policy does not describe Basic's.

3. Automated SMS processing

Where you enable it, ProofPay Premium can identify and process relevant incoming payment messages automatically, without you manually sharing each one — unlike ProofPay Basic, which only ever processes a message you explicitly choose to share.

4. User authorization

Automated processing is opt-in. It is not active when you install ProofPay Premium, and only begins after you have knowingly enabled the feature and granted the Android permission(s) it requires. You can review what you're authorizing at the point that permission is requested, before any automated processing takes place.

5. Permissions

Automated processing operates only after you have enabled the functionality and granted the permission(s) required by the applicable Android environment for that functionality. Android surfaces the specific permission being requested to you directly at the time of the request, through the system permission dialog, so you can see exactly what you're granting before you grant it.

6. Background / automated processing

Once enabled, automated processing is designed to identify relevant payment messages as they arrive, so you don't need to open the app or manually share each one. Processing follows the behaviour and constraints of the Android permission model you've authorized — Denxor Labs does not use automated processing to access information beyond what that authorization covers.

7. Transaction extraction

Once a relevant message is identified, ProofPay extracts transaction-related details — such as merchant, amount, date and reference — to build a structured transaction record, in the same way it does for a message shared manually in ProofPay Basic.

8. Data minimization

Automated processing is designed to identify payment-related messages and disregard messages that are not payment-related, rather than treating your full message history as a data source. Processing is limited to what's needed to recognize and extract payment information from a relevant message.

9. Local processing

Message parsing and transaction-detail extraction are performed on-device, the same way as ProofPay Basic's local parsing — a relevant message is read and processed on your device before a record is created.

10. Storage

Transaction records created by ProofPay Premium are stored on your device using encrypted local storage, consistent with the storage model described in the Data & Security Policy. Automated processing changes how a message reaches ProofPay — not where the resulting record is kept.

11. Off-device transmission

ProofPay Premium's core automated payment-message processing is designed to run on-device. Denxor Labs does not operate this functionality as a mechanism for uploading your message content to a remote server. If a future Premium feature requires transmitting information off-device — for example, optional cloud backup or sync, should either be introduced — that feature will be separately disclosed, with its own explanation of what is sent and why, before it is enabled for any user.

12. Third-party services

ProofPay Premium does not share your payment-message content or transaction records with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated services. Denxor Labs does not sell user data. If a specific Premium feature relies on a third-party infrastructure or service provider, that reliance will be disclosed here by name, along with what that provider receives.

13. Security

ProofPay Premium is built on the same local-security architecture as ProofPay Basic: encrypted local storage backed by Android Keystore mechanisms, salted PBKDF2‑HMAC‑SHA256 PIN hashing with escalating lockout after repeated failed attempts, and an encrypted queue for data pending processing rather than exposure in ordinary storage. See the full Data & Security Policy. None of this is marketed as "military-grade," "unhackable," or "100% secure" — it describes the mechanisms actually in place.

14. Retention

Transaction records created through automated processing are retained on your device for as long as you keep them, the same as records created through ProofPay Basic's manual sharing — there is no separate automatic expiry applied by Denxor Labs.

15. User controls

You control whether automated processing is enabled at all. Nothing about automated processing removes your ability to review, edit, or delete a record it created.

16. Disabling automated processing

You can turn automated processing off from within ProofPay Premium at any time. Once disabled, ProofPay stops identifying and processing payment messages automatically, and you can continue using ProofPay the way ProofPay Basic works — sharing individual messages yourself — for any message you still want recorded. Disabling the feature does not delete transaction records already created.

17. Data deletion

Because ProofPay Premium's transaction records are stored locally on your device, you can delete individual records from within the app, and uninstalling ProofPay Premium removes its local application data from your device entirely. Denxor Labs does not operate a separate server-side account or database of your transaction history for automated processing, so there is no separate remote deletion-request process to describe beyond the on-device controls above.

18. Analytics / crash reporting

ProofPay Premium does not use your payment-message content or transaction records for analytics. Denxor Labs does not currently operate a third-party analytics or crash-reporting integration for ProofPay Premium. If that changes, this section will name the service and describe what it receives.

19. Advertising ID

ProofPay Premium does not use the Advertising ID and does not contain advertising SDKs.

20. Children's privacy

ProofPay Premium is not designed or directed at children, and Denxor Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances prohibited by applicable law.

21. Changes

This policy may be updated as ProofPay Premium's functionality changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date above.
